Some tips when making suggestions about Future Topics for Project Firefly Competitions:

1. It really helps if a precise question can be suggested rather than a broader topic area. There are fewer misunderstandings if a tightly written question is proposed.
2. Questions that relate to business, management, economics, politics, international affairs, the environment, and development have tended to resonate with more members of the Project Firefly community. Having said that, don’t be afraid to suggest other interesting questions that tomorrow’s thought leaders can contribute useful answers to.
3. Think carefully about the best format for answering the question. Essays (800-1500 words) are a common format, but may not be the best vehicle for every question. Project Firefly is not wedded to any one format for its competitions.
4. Don’t worry if a suggested question does not get selected. Many of the competitions being planned will include an option to submit analyses on any important contemporary matter. There will be plenty of opportunities for our talented Network of participants to be recognised for their insights and skills.
