Thomas Bieger is Rektor (President) and since 1999 Professor of Business Administration with specialisation in Tourism at the University of St. Gallen. Professor Bieger is also President of the CEMS network of European Management Schools. He held several guest Professorships at the University of Innsbruck and the Wirtschafts Universität Wien. He also taught at the Simon Fraser University, Vancouver and the Universita della Svizzera Italiana, Lugano. From 2003 until 2005 he served as a Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of St. Gallen and then he became Deputy Rector of the University of St. Gallen.
